We are proud to announce that our facility ‘Auriga Research Bengaluru Laboratory’ of has been granted the NABL accreditation. The accreditation is mandatory for carrying out any analytical testing. Following the NABL accreditation, Auriga’s Bengaluru facility is now primed to undertake testing and analysis of food and water, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. NABL accreditation is accorded to only those laboratories that can demonstrate their technical competence. Prior to being awarded the accreditation a laboratory is assessed for the (i) technical competence of its staff, (ii) validity and appropriateness of the test methods, (iii) traceability of measurements and calibrations to national standards, (iv) suitability, calibration and maintenance of test equipment, (v) testing environment, (vi) sampling, handling and transportation of test items, and (vii) quality assurance of test and calibration data. It is commendable that the laboratory was able to qualify for the NABL accreditation despite the stringent criteria.
With the NABL accreditation, we would be able to provide testing services for food, water, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. We have dedicated 3,000 sq. ft. solely for microbiological testing out of the 20,000 sq. ft. that houses the facility. This also gives us plenty of room for future expansion. Our present clients, who are spread throughout southern India, will now have ease of access to our services and will be able to obtain the test reports within a short period of time”.
