FoSTaC Training

Auriga Research is an empanelled training partner under FoSTaC and registration number is TPAUR330/12-20. Auriga Research is committed to train Food Safety Supervisors for various training courses on food safety and hygiene as required under Schedule 4 of the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulation 2011.

Food Safety Supervisor Training

Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC) is a large-scale training programme conducted by FSSAI for food business operators. FSSAI envisages that all food businesses having either Central License or State License should have at least one trained and certified “Food Safety Supervisor” for every 25 food handlers in each of their premises. The supervisors would carry out periodic training of all food handlers in the premises and maintain records of food safety audit and inspections. 

Auriga Research has engaged competent trainers and an experienced team of individuals like food safety experts, SMEs and technical and academic professionals for managing the training activities of the organization.

Types of Training and Levels 

To address the training needs for all types of food businesses at various levels in the food system, a number of Training Courses are available for different industry verticals and are divided into three levels; Basic, Advanced & Special. 

The Basic course comprises of training in

  • Manufacturing
  • Retail and Distribution
  • Storage & Transport

The Advance course comprises training in

  • Catering 
  • Retail and Distribution
  • Manufacturing 
  • Storage and Transport 

The Special course comprises training in 

  • Milk and Milk products
  • Meat and Poultry
  • Fish and Seafood
  • Packaged Water 
  • Edible Fats and Oils 
  • Bakery

The training will be in accordance with the guidelines as outlined by FoSTaC.
