Besides this, the new food certification division of Auriga Research – a group venture company of Arbro Pharmaceuticals known for its state-of-the-art laboratories – was also showcased at this exclusive event.
Since Indus Food is the largest event of its kind organised in the space of food export promotion in India, it presented Arbro Lab a unique opportunity to exhibit products and services to a new, handpicked cross-section of audience. Over 12,500 business meeting were held at that time, resulting in finalisation of business transactions worth US$ 1 billion.
To ensure a smooth conduct of this two-day event, the Indus Food business app enabled suppliers and buyers create one-on-one business connections in the virtual space. In addition to this, a business matchmaking system powered by stakeholder profiles and pre-scheduled meetings created on the cloud was used to streamline the processes and save time and effort. The event venue was also divided into product-wise zones for clear segregation and ease of locating prospective buyers/suppliers or business partners.
With the backing of the Department of Commerce and unwavering support of all national-level product promotion agencies, the Trade Promotion Council of India created a conducive business environment that every participant benefitted from.
