Description
Sweetened condensed milk is a thick, viscous dairy product made by partially removing water from cow’s milk and adding sugar to preserve it. The final product contains not less than 8% milk fat, 28% total milk solids, and a minimum of 40% sucrose (sugar) by weight. It is heat-treated to ensure microbial safety and has a long shelf life without refrigeration. It is widely used in desserts, confectionery, bakery products, and as a sweetener in beverages.
