Testing Scope
Mixed milk, as per the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), refers to a combination of milk from more than one species of milch animals (e.g., cow, buffalo, goat, camel, etc.), with or without the addition of reconstituted or skimmed milk. It must conform to the minimum compositional standards of 4.5% milk fat and 8.5% solids-not-fat (SNF).
This milk offers a balanced nutritional profile, benefiting from the combined qualities of different milk types, such as the high protein of buffalo milk, the easy digestibility of goat milk, and the immune-boosting properties of camel milk. Mixed milk is often used in commercial dairy processing, value-added dairy products, and nutritionally fortified formulations
Our mixed milk UHT is tested and verified in NABL-accredited laboratories to ensure it is:
Free from adulterants and contaminantsCompliant with microbial and chemical safety norms
Rich in calcium, proteins, and essential vitamins
Processed under hygienic and FSSAI-certified conditions
It is suitable for direct consumption and industrial use in dairy processing. Every batch is tested for parameters like fat percentage, SNF percentage, antibiotics, aflatoxins, added water, and preservatives.
Why It Matters
Nutritional Compliance: To ensure the mixed milk meets FSSAI's minimum standards of 4.5% milk fat and 8.5% SNF (Solids-Not-Fat).
Adulteration Detection: To identify the presence of adulterants such as added water, starch, urea, detergents, neutralizers, and foreign fats.
Source Verification: To confirm the authenticity and declared composition of milk from different animal sources (e.g., cow, buffalo, goat, camel).
Commercial Sterility
Residue & Contaminant Monitoring: To screen for antibiotic residues, pesticide contamination, and heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and arsenic.
FSSAI Regulatory Compliance: To ensure the milk complies with all legal and food safety standards for commercial sale, processing, and export.
Consumer Protection: To prevent health risks by verifying milk quality, hygiene, and safety for public consumption.
Support for Labeling, Licensing & Trade: To aid in accurate labeling, FSSAI license acquisition, and regulatory documentation for distribution.
