Description
Fortified Goat Milk is natural goat milk enriched with essential micronutrients, specifically Vitamin A and Vitamin D, in line with the guidelines set by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). This nutritional enhancement helps address common micronutrient deficiencies in the population, especially among children, pregnant women, and the elderly.
According to FSSAI regulations:

Goat milk must first meet the standard compositional requirements for fat and solids-not-fat (SNF).

Fortification is carried out using safe, stable, and bioavailable forms of nutrients.
Fortification Levels as per FSSAI:

Vitamin A: 270–450 µg RE (Retinol Equivalent) per liter

Vitamin D: 5–7.5 µg per liter
Fortified goat milk retains the natural digestibility and hypoallergenic properties of regular goat milk while offering enhanced nutritional benefits. It is especially beneficial for individuals with lactose intolerance or sensitivity to cow milk proteins.
To ensure transparency and regulatory compliance, all fortified goat milk products must display the +F logo on their packaging, indicating adherence to FSSAI’s food fortification standards.
