With great pleasure, we would like to announce that Arbro has been granted renewal from APEDA [Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority] Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India for sampling and analysis of food commodities for export testing.
Based on the laboratory assessment carried out on 14th June 2013 by a team of highly qualified personnel, the certificate of renewal was granted in as per scope of Chemical, Microbiological and GMO analysis disciplines.
Arbro was granted the first recognition in 2004 and awarded subsequent renewals since then.
The validity of recognition is for a period of 4 years subject as per the compliance laid down in laboratory recognition criteria of APEDA.

The scope includes the following:
a) Residues of Pesticides, drugs & Antibiotics, heavy metal contamination, aflatoxin levels and microbiological analysis in:
- Fresh Fruits and vegetables
- Processes fruits and vegetables
- Cereals (rice, wheat, maize) and their products
- Meat, poultry, dairy products and honey
- Other processed foods
b) A GMO analysis in:
- Rice and rice products
- Soya and soy products
- Maize and maize products
- Cotton and cotton products
